We are familiar with all of the different types of carpet, upholstery, furniture and oriental rug cleaning. The method we use is known as hot water extraction, which is sometimes referred to as steam cleaning. We use a three-step process: We first apply a spotting agent to any heavy traffic area or spots you may have in your carpet.
We then apply a pre-spray solution which helps to emulsify the dirt in your rugs, as well as the spots or heavy traffic areas. This solution we apply is mixed with the hot water from our truck mounted cleaning machine and is later extracted with the actual carpet cleaning process. Then the carpet is steam cleaned with water heated up to approximately 220 degrees, thereby assuring maximum cleaning. Most of the moisture is extracted from your carpet, leaving your carpet damp for anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. (Some thin pile carpets could take a little longer to dry, but if you’d like, The Steam Master Carpet Cleaning can provide you with air movers to dry the carpet faster at an additional charge.
