Extraction is an essential step in the carpet cleaning process.  Some companies do not extract the water that they sprayed or (they use a different method), have weak extraction vacuum equipment. A poor water extraction process can cause two HUGE problems:

1 – The carpet was left extremely wet which will take days to dry and can possibly brown out. ( it is normal for carpets to be wet for hours after cleaning)
